Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” U.S. tour suffered a major setback on Thursday after his scheduled performance at The Armory in Minneapolis was abruptly cancelled due to poor ticket sales. The show, billed for Friday, November 28, 2025, was removed at the last minute on Ticketmaster’s website.
The cancellation also affected his next stop in Chicago, originally slated for December 1. Although tour organisers offered no official explanation, the decision comes as the singer battles growing public criticism over a recent onstage incident in Colorado.
A viral video had shown Burna Boy halting his performance to scold a couple for falling asleep. The backlash intensified when the singer later defended his action during an Instagram live session, stating that he “only wants supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.” Reports later revealed that the woman involved had been grieving a personal loss.
Confirming the cancelled dates, Burna Boy on Friday morning posted a direct link on his Instagram story to the Ticketmaster page showing both shows had been scrapped.
