Patrick Doyle Applauds Ex-Wife

Veteran broadcaster and actor Patrick Doyle has praised the progress of his ex-wife, actress Ireti Doyle, saying she has upheld and advanced the Doyle name through her achievements in the entertainment industry.

Ireti publicly confirmed her divorce from Patrick in January 2023, keeping the reasons private. Speaking on Wake Up Nigeria, Patrick avoided any negative remarks, stressing that he preferred silence to saying anything unkind.

When asked about Ireti’s current performance in Nollywood, he said he was pleased with her growth. “I’m happy for her that the Doyle name has opened doors for her, and she hasn’t disgraced the Doyle name,” he stated.
He added that she was “doing pretty well” and that he remained proud of all she had accomplished.
