Chris Oyakhilome Backs Israel, Defends U.S. Role in Iran Conflict

The General Overseer of Christ Embassy, also known as Believers’ LoveWorld, Chris Oyakhilome, has voiced strong support for Israel in its ongoing tensions involving Iran and the United States, stating that Israel is justified in defending its existence.

Speaking to his congregation in a video that has since gone viral on social media, the cleric argued that Israel has long faced existential threats and cannot afford to ignore repeated hostilities, particularly from Iran.

According to Oyakhilome, the situation must be viewed from the perspective of national survival, noting that Israel, as a relatively small nation, has consistently faced threats questioning its right to exist.

He stressed that any country in a similar position would be compelled to act decisively rather than wait for a potential attack, especially in light of concerns over Iran’s alleged nuclear ambitions.

The pastor also dismissed claims that Israel had drawn the United States into the conflict, insisting that the nation has historically fought to preserve its sovereignty.

Addressing broader geopolitical tensions, he questioned global reactions to the crisis, arguing that Israel has endured repeated threats while occupying a relatively small landmass.

Oyakhilome further linked his position to religious beliefs, stating that biblical teachings affirm Israel’s continued existence despite opposition from other nations.

He maintained that opposition to Israel, particularly rooted in hatred toward Jewish people, is misguided and urged critics to align their views with what he described as divine wisdom.
