A number of institutions, including mosques, churches, hotels, bars, nightclubs, and supermarkets, were recently sealed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) due to noise pollution and other infractions.

A statement posted on LASEPA’s X account revealed this.

The Agency claims that this action is consistent with its responsibility to protect the environment from violations such as noise pollution.

Ayo ni, Children of God Healings Deliverance and Adoration Ministry, City of Testimony Church, and Cherubim & Seraphim are a few of the establishments that have been sealed.

 

Relief Station Ifelodun Mosque, Christ Ministry, and Redeemed Christian Church of God (Sanctuary of Favour).

The others include Avro Supermarket, Lady B Gold Bar, Da-Villa Hotel, Perch Hotel & Suites, Euphoria Night Club, Mainland Leisure View Hotel, House 46 Hotel and Suites, and Selino Hotel.

The impacted businesses are dispersed throughout Lekki and Surulere, two neighborhoods in Lagos State.
