Composition of the Oyo State House of Assembly will take a new shape in June this year, following the sweeping victory of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at the March 9 State House of Assembly election.

While the PDP won a total of 26 seats, the All Progressives Congress (APC) won five seats. The ADP won one seat and that seat belongs to the only woman who would be in the Assembly.
