President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire held a meeting on better way to overcome COVID-19 at the State House, Abuja.
At the meeting also was the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Dr Chikwe Ikekweazu.
It was gathered that the officials came to give Buhari updates on the raging coronavirus pandemic.
Nigeria has now been reported having 81 cases, three discharged and one death.
The meeting came amid rumor that the President had been flown out of the country for coronavirus treatment.
President Buhari had earlier on Monday tested negative to the virus but Buhari was yet to address the country since the outbreak of the virus in the Nigeria.
The first confirmed case of the pandemic of coronavirus disease was announced on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen who came into the country for a business trip in Ogun State was tested positive in the Lagos treatment centre.
