COVID-19 Pandemic: Osinbajo Holds Meeting With Governors

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday, presided over the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.with governors over the COVID-19 ravaging the country

Osinbajo joined from the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

It was gathered that the meeting was anchored from the Yellow Room (Osinbajo’s office).

It was the fourth in 2020 and deliberated on the coronavirus pandemic.

Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, was in attendance while governors joined from their states

NEC meets monthly to deliberate on the coordination of economic planning and programmes of various levels of government.

Members are governors, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Minister of Finance, Head of the Civil Service, Secretary to the Federal Government and other relevant government officials.
