Lagos State has discharged 13 more coronavirus patients
The state Health Ministry disclosed this on Thursday evening via Twitter.
It said the patients, two females, and 11 males, were all Nigerians, adding that the total recoveries had risen to 541.
“13 COVID-19 patients; 2 females and 11 males; all Nigerians have been discharged from our Isolation facilities at Yaba and Lagos University Teaching Hospital to reunite with the society.
“The patients; 4 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 9 from LUTH Isolation Centres have fully recovered and tested negative twice consecutively to COVID-19
“With this, the number of patients successfully managed & discharged in Lagos has risen to 541,” it stated.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as of the time of filing this report said there were 2,041 COVID-19 infections in the state including 33 fatalities.
