Dangote Hails Mr Eazi’s 18 Businesses, Predicts Couple Will Become World’s Richest

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has showered praises on singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, revealing he was unaware the entertainer runs 18 businesses across Africa.

Dangote made the revelation while speaking at the wedding of Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.

In a viral video from the event, Dangote commended Mr Eazi’s entrepreneurial drive and predicted that the couple could one day become the wealthiest people in the world.

“I never knew that you have businesses in 18 countries in Africa. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy,” Dangote said. “Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.”

He also spoke warmly about his relationship with Femi Otedola, chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank, describing him as more than a friend.

“Femi is not only my friend, he is my brother. Where you see me, you see Femi. If there is any brother that I have that is not of the same mother and father, that brother is Femi,” he said.

The wedding, which held in Iceland, also marked Temi Otedola’s official decision to drop her father’s surname following her marriage to Mr Eazi.
