Zuchu, who is also signed to Diamond Platnumz’s record label, said the decision was difficult but necessary. Although she did not reveal the cause of the breakup, she wrote that they had tried to make the marriage work.

“We tried, but Allah has His own plans,” she said. “My husband and I are now separated and going through a divorce. I announce this with a heavy heart. After six years of being together, I’ve finally decided to choose myself. This is a time to heal and focus more on my health and career.”

Meanwhile, Diamond Platnumz’s former partner, socialite Zari Hasan, reacted to the news by praising Zuchu’s resilience. Zari, who previously ended her relationship with the singer over alleged infidelity, applauded Zuchu for enduring the relationship for as long as she did.
