Mercy Aigbe, a Nollywood actress, has implored President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s son Seyi to approach his father about the nation’s current economic struggles.
Nigerians have been struggling with a daily rise in products and services, especially food and necessities, since the fuel subsidy was eliminated.
The movie star said on Monday on her Instagram page that people are going hungry, dying, and going insane due to the economic hardship.
She went on to call the current state of affairs appalling and urged the administration to take action.
Mercy Aigbe also pleaded with Seyi to talk to his father.
She wrote, “People are hungry! People are dying! People are going out of their minds! The present situation in the country is TERRIBLE! The government should please, please, we are begging, they should do something about this economic hardship!
“IT’S UNBEARABLE @officialasiwajubat @seyitinubu, please beg your father for us! O to get!!!!”
Son of Tinubu Offers Nigerians Words of Support
Seyi Tinubu, in the meantime, has begged Nigerians to have patience with his father’s government.
He maintained that Nigerians would eventually reap the benefits of the current suffering that many are going through.
Naija News believes that Tinubu made this statement via his Instagram page.
He restated a statement made by his father, stating that it brings him no happiness to watch his countrymen carrying responsibilities.
The president of Nigeria urged the people of Nigeria to put up with the hardships of the present if they wanted to see the bright side of the future.
