Nasir El-Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State, paid former president Muhammadu Buhari a visit in Daura, Katsina State.
This was announced on Monday by the former Nigerian leader’s spokesperson, Garba Shehu, in a post published on his official X account.
Shehu claimed that the former governor of Kaduna had traveled to Daura as a gesture of goodwill and that the former president had enjoyed a happy moment with the outgoing governor, El-rufai.

Muhammadu Sanusi II, the 14th Emir of Kano and a former governor of Kaduna, visited Tudun Biri in Kaduna State in the meantime.
Their visit comes after the Nigerian Army accidentally blasted people on Sunday night who were there for the Maulud celebration.
On Friday, they went to the village with other leaders of the Tijjaniyya Islamic sect.
It was reported that El-Rufai and Sanusi II had each given N10 million to help the neighborhood.
