Emerengwa Completes 56th Constituency Project, Delivers Solar-Powered Borehole to Igwuruta

Emerengwa completes 56th constituency project with the delivery of a solar-powered borehole to Omunike Omunobo, Igwuruta, Ward 12, in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The project, delivered by the Member representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Boniface Emerengwa, DSSRS, includes an 8,000-litre water storage tank for public use.

The facility aims to improve access to clean and reliable water in the community. It will also reduce the pressure residents face when sourcing water during periods of poor electricity supply.

Many households rely on generators when public power fails. However, the high cost of petrol and diesel has made that option increasingly difficult for many residents.

As a result, the solar-powered borehole could provide a more dependable alternative for residents who need water for their daily activities.

Emerengwa completes 56th constituency project as his administration continues to focus on projects aimed at addressing practical needs within the federal constituency.

His tenure in the House of Representatives is expected to end in May 2027. However, the latest project adds to a list of constituency interventions attributed to his representation.

The completion of the project has also drawn appreciation from residents of Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency.

For the community, access to water remains a basic need. Therefore, the new facility could ease some of the challenges associated with obtaining water.

The project also highlights the role of constituency projects in addressing local infrastructure needs.

With May 2027 approaching, Emerengwa completes 56th constituency project while maintaining his focus on grassroots infrastructure.

The development is expected to provide residents of Omunike Omunobo with improved access to water and support daily household needs.
