The Federal Government has officially declared Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6, 2026, as public holidays in observance of this year’s Easter festivities. This announcement provides a well-deserved break for citizens to commemorate the season, which marks one of the most significant events on the Christian calendar. The declaration was made on behalf of the government by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who extended heartfelt congratulations to Christians both within Nigeria and across the global diaspora.
