In Kebbi, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) have opened a miniature stadium reportedly valued at $1.19 million.

As to NAN, the facility’s commissioning was overseen by Kebbi Governor Nasir Idris. It is situated on Kalgo Road in the state capital of Birnin Kebbi. The tiny stadium’s foundation was laid in September 2020 by the previous state governor, Atiku Bagudu.

FIFA is sponsoring the project through its “Forward Programme,” which intends to give more extensive funding & assistance for global football development projects.

NFF President Ibrahim Gusau stated during the opening that the federation will take additional steps to provide facilities in order to raise the stadium’s caliber.

He committed to putting in more work to enhance sports development nationwide. “We’re going to go above and beyond to make the stadium’s amenities better than they are now,” Gusau declared.
