After watching the infamous video of Sam Smith and his band performing “Unholy” at the Grammys, a woman referred to them as “demonic.”

The five-time Grammy Award winner and Kim Petras won this year’s Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award for their work on “Unholy,” which they both performed in front of the crowd.

The singer was accused of being “satanic,” and the performance drew an astounding 18 complaints to the Federal Communications Commission, leading some to believe it was unholy in more ways than just the concert’s name (FCC).

We’ll never understand how the world managed to handle 18 people contacting each other to voice their complaints, and Smith was unquestionably the very embodiment of the devil because, as everyone knows, Satan’s go-to outfit is a red top hat with horns.

People who saw the performance complained that it was “anti-Christian” and may “promote violence towards Christians.”

The pair later performed while Smith attracted notice with what appeared to be an extraordinarily ridiculous attire at the Brit Awards.

It is unclear how they managed to sit down in such a costume, but later on at the awards they had changed clothes to sing “Unholy” with Petras once more, a decision that drew more criticism.

As one woman yelled obscenities at Smith as they traveled through New York City, it is unfortunate that certain people are unable to preach the very Christian doctrine of “love thy neighbor.”

The outburst was caught on tape and Smith is seen going about their business despite being subjected to the woman’s barrage of insults.

She yelled at the performer, “Sam Smith belongs in hell,” before calling them a “demonic twisted sick b*****d.”

Smith walked away with their dignity completely intact and didn’t even give the yelling woman a glance as they went because someone had to be the adult in this scenario.

The shouting mother continued to scream at Smith, calling him a “paedophile” and yelling at them to leave the children alone while using that dignified example as no deterrent.

Smith having left, she then charged them with “grooming the kids” and referred to them as a “sick motherf**ker” and a “evil” person for the heinous act of singing a song.

Smith has received criticism in the past for creating “raunchy” music videos, but Smith’s supporters have weighed in to counter that other musicians have done far worse without receiving anywhere close to the same degree of criticism.

Aidan Moffat, a fellow musician, remarked that it must be tiring to be so hateful all the time for those who harbor such strong feelings against Smith.
