According to the Nigerian news agency NAN, President Muhammadu Buhari has started a two-day official visit to Katsina State.

Mr. Buhari will oversee some projects that the Aminu Masari administration had been working on and commission others while he was there.

The Kofar-Kaura and Kofar-Kwaya underpasses and the Katsina Revenue House are a few of the projects that are ready for commissioning.

A few active projects in Katsina, the state capital, would also be subject to his inspection.

During his second day of visits, Mr. Buhari would also formally open a number of schools, hospitals, and highways outside the state capital.

The president would also open the brand-new Darma Rice Mills, founded by business tycoon Dahiru Barau-Mangal of Katsina, according to the Government House itinerary.

According to NAN, security troops have been placed all throughout Katsina, particularly near the project sites and the routes the president will take.

Since then, the police have declared that some routes would be temporarily closed on Thursday from 8 p.m. to 12 p.m.

There are three highways that go to Kofar-Kaura: IBB-Kofar Kaura, Steel Rolling Mills-Liyafa roundabout, and Al-qalam University roundabout.
