…Silva’s side reignite interest after failed January chase
…Nigerian star ready to reunite with Bassey and Iwobi in London

Fulham have renewed their pursuit of AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze, as manager Marco Silva looks to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Cottagers initially made a move for the Nigerian international during the January transfer window but failed to secure his signature. Now, with preparations in full gear for the 2025/26 campaign, Fulham are reportedly plotting a fresh approach for the pacey winger.

Chukwueze is said to be open to the idea of a switch to Craven Cottage. The presence of his Super Eagles teammates, Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi, who have both established themselves at the club, is believed to be a key influence in his decision.

Despite the growing interest, Fulham have yet to open official negotiations with AC Milan, according to a report by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Since joining the Rossoneri from Villarreal in 2023, the 26-year-old has found regular playing time hard to come by. Mostly used as a substitute, Chukwueze has managed eight goals and six assists in 69 appearances across all competitions — a return considered underwhelming by fans and critics alike.

With Fulham keen to add more firepower and depth to their attack, Chukwueze’s pace and creativity down the flanks could be the spark Silva’s side needs.
