…Atalanta reject €45m bid as Nerazzurri reach personal terms
…Nigeria’s Lookman turns down Napoli approach

Inter Milan are intensifying their pursuit of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, with reports confirming that the Nerazzurri have prepared a fresh offer to lure him away from Atalanta.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian giants have already agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old winger, following Atalanta’s rejection of a previous €45 million bid.

Lookman, a standout performer for the Bergamo-based club last season, is now a top target for Inter’s attacking revamp. Despite interest from Serie A champions Napoli, the Nigeria international reportedly declined their approach, signalling his preference for a move to the San Siro.

However, Atalanta remain firm on their valuation and are demanding a minimum of €50 million to part ways with their star forward.

Lookman, who has emerged as one of Africa’s most in-form forwards, joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022 and has since become a key figure under Gian Piero Gasperini. His explosive pace, creativity, and goal threat have made him a valuable asset in Italy’s top flight and an integral part of Nigeria’s national team.

The coming days could be decisive as Inter aim to finalise the deal before the new season kicks off.
