GOMBE GOVERNOR ASKS VOTERS TO VOTE TINUBU IN 2023 TO CONTINUE BUHARI’S GOOD WORKS.

The Governor of Gombe State, Inuwa Yahaya, has asked the Nigerian voters to vote for the presidential flagbearer of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to enable him to continue President Muhammadu Buhari’s “excellent efforts”.

On Tuesday, the governor stated this in the state’s Akko Local Government Area.

Yahaya stated that Tinubu deserves to be elected in order to continue Buhari’s record of excellent achievements.

“We need consolidation, which is why we’re voting for Tinubu. Tinubu has promised to carry on Buhari’s outstanding works by ensuring good administration for the decent people.

“I assure you that he will not disappoint,” Yahaya promised.

The governor of Gombe thanked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for instituting the Bimodal Voter Authentication System (BVAS).

He claimed that BVAS had eliminated the prospect of rigging the 2023 general election.

Yahaya added that while certain politicians were able to manipulate card readers in previous general elections, they would not be able to do so with BVAS in 2023.

He expressed confidence that the incumbent APC would easily win the election.

“Previously, certain people would sit in a room and scribble results, pronouncing whoever the victor of the election was, but with BVAS, we are not afraid because we have supporters,” the governor explained.
