The Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, completed a 100-hour kitchen stint, however Guinness World Records did not recognize her achievement.

Remember that the record organization had declared Hilda the winner of the world’s longest cooking marathon. Despite this, she was given the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), clocking in at 93 hours and 11 minutes, beating the widely accepted 100-hour mark.

Because she “erroneously took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early in the attempt,” according to the record body’s justification for its judgment, she lost seven hours off her record.
