Seigha Glasgow, a director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, has been accused of robbing a Chief Henry Ojogho of N105 million.

Court records that were made public to The Eagle Online on Monday in Lagos included this development.

In 2015, Glasgow allegedly acquired the money through ENENI MAGGRETI LTD with the help of Mohammed Alfa under the guise of providing construction equipment, which was never done, according to court documents.

When Godswill Akpabio, the previous minister for Niger Delta affairs, accused Glasgow of engaging in corrupt behavior, he allegedly fled from his job station for two years. This information came to light while Glasgow was still a Director of the NDDC.

However, the court documents with charge number FHC/ABJ/CR/213/17 state that “Seigha Glasgow ENENI MAGGRETI LTD and one Mohammed Alfa now at large, sometime in the year 2015 at Lagos within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court with intent to defraud conspired among yourselves to wit: fraudulently obtain the sum of One Hundred and Five Million Naira (#105,000,000) from Chief Henry Ojogho under the guise that you will supply him

Count 2 reads, “That you, Seigha Glasgow, ENENI MAGGRETI LTD, and Mohammed Alfa, now at large, sometime in the year 2015 at Lagos within the jurisdiction of this Honorable court, fraudulently obtained the sum of One Hundred and Five Million Naira (#105,000,000) from Chief Henry Ojogho under the pretense that you would supply him with some construction equipment, and by doing so, committed an offense under section 1(3) of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Related Off

Count 3 reads, “That you, Seigha Glasgow, on May 30, 2017, at Abuja, within the jurisdiction of this Honorable court, wrote a dud check for N105,000,000 in favor of Chief Henry Ojogho with intent to defraud and therefore committed an offense.”
