The All Progressives Grand Alliance’s (APGA) presidential candidate, Prof. Peter Umeadi, asserts that he is capable of addressing the nation’s security problems.

This was stated by Umeadi during his remarks at the NBA State of the Nation Dialogue in Abuja.

In order to address the issues, he stated that he intended to take some actions, such as conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the security system with a focus on the police.

He continued by saying that the wellbeing of the police will receive the utmost care, as would the provision of suitable working equipment.

If I win the General Election, I would lead the nation in overcoming insurgency as the APGA Presidential Candidate.

“The police should be able to continue fighting and overcoming the obstacles to internal security with the necessary assistance.

“The social progress tenet of my manifesto is all-encompassing to assist the country in overcoming its current problems by implementing true federalism and the idea of efficient decentralization of power.

The Nigerian economy is plagued by monoeconomic policies and politicized, corrupt, crude oil production, not resource-related issues.

“This has more negatively impacted the resource than positively,” he claimed.

In his remarks, NBA President Mr. Yakubu Maikyau thanked the participants and praised the program’s creators.
