Senator Musa Kwakwanso, the New Nigeria People’s Party’s (NNPP) presidential candidate, has pledged to enlist one million Nigerians in the military services if elected to government in 2023 in order to address the nation’s security issues.

After meeting with the party’s leadership and members at the NNPP secretariat, Kwakwanso stated that these Nigerians will be taught to eradicate insurgency and other security issues endangering the country’s existence in an interview with journalists in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

The NNPP presidential contender also pledged to put equal emphasis on youth and women empowerment, as well as education development at all levels.

Speaking on the possibility of the party joining forces with other potent opposition political parties, Kwakwanso asserted that such a suggestion is untrue.

He clarified that his party is committed to challenging other political parties for control during the general elections in February and March, with the promise that they will prevail in all elective positions.

“You know, we feel that we are not above the three or four parties in this country, but with the grace of God, next year, the NNPP will win the election at the national level and all other levels,” stated Kwankwaso.

“So, these are ex-politicians who don’t have anything to say to Nigerians other than to disseminate the unfounded rumor of a merger.

“Merger already vanished. Our candidates are here. Everyone is running for office in all the parties. Therefore, ignore that foolishness.

“Don’t ask me that garbage,” the man said in response to the question of whether he would resign for any contender.

Oginni Olaposi, the party’s state chairman, attributed his opinion to the amount of unimaginable hardships that Nigerians are experiencing under the APC, saying that “only lunatics will vote for APC” in the upcoming election.

“Our presidential candidate is present today to refute any rumors that the NNPP is joining forces with another party.

“The stupid APC administration lacks an answer to Nigeria’s challenges. The number of APC supporters in 2023 will be equal to the number of lunatics we currently have in Nigeria. The APC has no place in governance, says Oginni
