To begin the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign tour, which will take place at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, more than 27 former Super Eagles players have arrived in Kano.

They comprised, among others, Emmanuel Babayaro, Peter Rufai, Victor Ikpeba, Julius Aghahowa, Mutiu Adepoju, and Daniel Amokachi.

Baffa Agundi, the previous majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly, greeted them.

According to a statement by the Tinubu Support Group, Agundi expressed happiness at their arrival and pledged to make their time in the state special as they began their tour in support of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the president-elect of the ruling All Progressives Congress, and Senator Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s running mate.

Since they made every home in Nigeria happy while they were playing, Agudi referred to the players as one of the best things to have ever happened to the nation.
