IN EDO, UGM STORMED THE CHURCH, SH%OT THE PASTOR, AND K#LL HIS WIFE.

The Edo State Police Command has confirmed the k#lling of Mrs Peace Chinyereugo, wife of Rev. Dr Samuel Chinyereugo, pastor of God’s Vineyard of Grace Dominion Assembly.

According to Daily Trust, on August 14, 2023, the pastor was assaulted by persons suspected of being ass@ssins in front of the church on Upper Lawani Street in New Benin, Edo State.

According to reports, the shooters followed the cleric as he drove to the church with his wife before opening fire in front of the chapel.

The perpetrators followed the preacher from the GRA district of the city, where he had visited a friend, and when they got close to his church, they overtook and blocked his car.

Three armed men were claimed to have alighted from the automobile and opened fire on them, injuring the pastor, his wife, and his helper.

The pastor’s wife was later pronounced dead by the doctor when the trio was transported to the hospital.
