Babatunji Wusu –

Publisher of Oviation Magazine and prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, has commented on the rivalry between former Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and current Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike.

the conflict that resulted in the arson attack on the Rivers Assembly between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Wike.

Wike, according to Governor Fubara, was impeding his ability to effectively perform his obligations as the State’s governor. But because of his choice to challenge Wike’s authority, there was pandemonium in the state as a result of plots to have him removed from office on the State Assembly floor.

Momodu asserted in a tweet posted on his official X account in response to the Wike-Fubara dispute that Wike was driven by a desire for power.

A KOBO TIP FOR MR. EZENWO NYESOM WIKE AGAIN… Good morning, my honorable brother, and joyful beginning of the month. I’m back to share with you the real deal from home. Let me state two unquestionable truths about you: you’re a great project manager and you give a lot to your friends. However, you have one terrible and deadly weakness, just like every mortal, and that is a LACK OF ANGER MANAGEMENT, Mr. Momodu wrote in a tweet.

“I know of no one who possesses your level of divine favor. This ought to satiate you, but your unquenchable desire for dominance is making you think that you always have to get your way. If you were in private business and managing your own company, it would have been wonderful. However, RIVERS is neither yours to own nor is it an everlasting bequest, he said.

His remark coincides with the PDP’s leadership stepping up attempts to resolve the conflict between the FCT minister and his predecessor. In the wake of Tuesday’s power move, PDP governors met with Governor Fubara.
