The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has announced a direct supply deal with Dangote Petroleum Refinery, aiming to make petroleum products more accessible and affordable across Nigeria. IPMAN’s National President, Abubakar Garima, confirmed the agreement at a press briefing in Abuja, stating, “This new arrangement with Dangote will ensure steady, uninterrupted supply of PMS products nationwide at lower rates.”

Garima noted that IPMAN will now be able to lift petrol (PMS), diesel (AGO), and kerosene (DPK) directly from the Dangote Refinery to distribute to its depots and retail stations, increasing supply stability across the country. “All IPMAN members should fully support this partnership due to its wide-reaching benefits, including job creation and foreign exchange impact,” he added.

The deal aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda” and aims to bolster Nigeria’s energy sector. Garima also mentioned IPMAN’s ongoing discussions to expand CNG refueling stations nationwide, supporting Nigeria’s gradual shift to cleaner energy alternatives.
