Jason Njoku, a British-Nigerian businessman and co-founder of iROKOtv, has revealed the reasons why men should marry wealthy women.

The father of three stated this in a series of tweets on Wednesday, explaining why he gave the advice.

He claimed that his wife, Mary Remmy Njoku, was his first investor, and that if they couldn’t marry a wealthy woman, they should “invest aggressively in one.”

“Marry rich woman o,” he wrote. If you are unable to marry, invest aggressively in one. @MrsMaryNjoku’s first ‘investor’ was me.

“That is my best life hack. You know how wonderful things are when your wife can support your entire way of life. Mortgage, school fees, and the happiest of lives. It’s the only way.

“Hates the fact that I tell her she’s my pension. That is if everything I own is depleted. To maintain my current lifestyle, I simply need to be a good husband. The truth. I over-extended myself into several startups a few years ago. They ate all of my money and then started eating hers.

“She wasn’t pleased. When I asked her to clear her accounts, she used to cry. But she stood by us. My number one investor.

“The earnings of @MrsMaryNjoku covered everything. She only asked that I not lose the money. Motivation multiplied by 100. As long as everything at home is in order. Nothing moves.

“The only money disagreements we’ve ever had were over how freely I spend it. But it’s in my blood. I don’t want to have to struggle too much. At the age of 50, you can retire. Working hard is bad for my skin.”
