On Monday, the Supreme Court postponed making a decision in the appeal that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar filed to contest President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the presidential election that was held on February 25.

Following the adoption of the parties’ briefs of arguments, a seven-member panel of the Supreme Court Justices, presided over by Justice Inyang Okoro, reserved judgment.

Atiku ran for office as a candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and he is requesting that President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have his election declared void by the supreme court on the grounds that he forged his certificates.
