JUST-IN: SUBOMI BALOGUN, FOUNDER OF FCMB, DIES AT AGE 89

Chief Michael Olasubomi ‘Subomi’ Balogun, a prominent banker and the creator of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), passed away at the age of 89.
He apparently passed away on Friday morning in a hospital in London.
Chief Balogun served as the Olori Omoba of Ijebuland, the Otunba Tunwase of Ijebuland, and the Asiwaju Onigbabo Ile Ijebu (Leader of Christians from Ijebu ancestry).
