The Board and Management of Nigerian Railway Corporation have declared the start of train operations between Abuja and Kaduna.

Due to the derailment of the Abuja-Kaduna train at the Kubwa station, the rail line’s operations were suspended.

The NRC’s Director of Operations, Niyi Alli, made the decision in a statement on Monday.

“Therefore, the service will restart on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, with the following daily schedule: KA2 departs Rigasa at 7am; AK1 departs Idu at 10am; KA4 departs Rigasa at 1pm; and AK3 departs Idu at 4pm,” the announcement stated.

“On Wednesday, however, only KA2 and AK 3 will leave Rigasa and Idu, respectively, at 7 am and 4 pm.

The company expresses its apology once more for any trouble that the service’s brief suspension may have caused to its esteemed customers.
