In response to the bombing of Tudun Biri town in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, which resulted in the deaths of over 120 Nigerians, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has requested that the federal government hold a national day of mourning.
The party requested that the Federal Government launch a system-wide inquiry right away to determine what truly happened, in a statement released on Wednesday by Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary.
The PDP expressed its condolences to the Tudun Biri Community and the government and people of Kaduna State, in particular. It also urged the federal government to take the appropriate action to reimburse the relatives of the deceased and give the injured immediate medical treatment.
The opposition party argued that the fact that the region was attacked twice prompted grave concerns and queries about the security system’s command and control coordination, intelligence collection, information processing, and synergy.
