KANO GOVERNMENT NAMES CPS AND OTHER AIDES AS ITS DEPUTY

Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu has been appointed press secretary to Deputy Governor Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo by Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Sanusi Tofa, his chief press secretary, said this in a statement, a copy of which was made public on Friday.

Shu’aibu graduated from Bayero University in Kano with a degree in English literature. He served as the Chairman of the Kano Correspondents’ Chapel and a correspondent for ThisDay Newspaper prior to his appointment.

Lawan Adamu Miko, Senior Special Assistant, Protocol; Abubakar Tijjani Kura, Senior Special Assistant, Administration; and Muhammad Garba Gwarzo, Senior Special Assistant, Political Matters, are the other individuals hired as the deputy governor’s personal assistants.

Others are Personal Assistant, Administration, Usman Nura Getso, Special Assistant, Domestic, and Personal Assistant, Photography, Hamza Ahmad Telan Mata.

The announcement claims that all of the appointments are effective right away.
