KANO GOVERNOR RECOMMENDS 19 COMMISSIONERS TO THE ASSEMBLY.

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has forwarded a list of 19 nominees who are expected to pilot the administration’s business alongside him as commissioners.

Yusuf Falgore, the Speaker of the State Assembly, made the announcement during the session on Tuesday while reading the governor’s request letter.

Baba Halilu Dantiye, the former President of the Nigeria Guild of Editors, is one of the governor’s 19 nominees.

Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam, Hon. Umar Doguwa, Hon. Ali Haruna Makoda, and Hon. Abubakar Labaran Yusuf, Hon. Danjuma Mahmoud, Hon. Musa Shanono, Hon. Abbas Sani Abbas, Haj. Aisha Saji are among the nominations forwarded to the Assembly.

Others include Haj. Ladidi Garko, Dr. Marwan Ahmad, Engr. Muhd Diggol, Hon. Adamu Aliyu Kibiya, Sheikh Tijjani Auwal, Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo, Hon. Haruna Isa Dederi, and Hon. Baba Halilu Dantiye.

The nominees were asked to appear before the Assembly tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. for screening.
