The appointment of Mrs. Victoria Mopelola Peregrino as Chairman of the Lagos State Teaching Service Commission has been approved by Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu (TESCOM).
Peregrino, who has served on the Governing Council of the Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Noforija-Epe, Lagos, for the past two years, will follow Mrs. Elizabeth Ariyo, whose term in that position expires on January 31.
The new hire will start working on February 1st, according to a statement released on Thursday by Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Head of Service for Lagos State.

He claims that before she left from the active teaching profession a number of years ago, Peregrino served in a variety of roles in the state’s education sector, including as a secondary school principal and Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of the state’s Education District One.

Muri-Okunola expressed trust in the new chairman’s expertise and abundance of experience, stating that the government and the governor in particular had great confidence in her and that she would undoubtedly perform admirably in her new job.
He gave her his congratulations and best wishes.
