LAGOS STATE POLICE CHIEF IS UNSUBSTITUTED.

The standing of the Commissioner of Police within the Command has received several demands for clarification from the Lagos State Police Command.

In order to clear up any confusion, the Command declared unequivocally that CP Abiodun Alabi is still the Commissioner of Police and that no other Commissioner of Police has been posted to Lagos State.

The public was cautioned to ignore rumors going around that a new police commissioner had been assigned to the Lagos State Police Command.

Its police public relations officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, anticipated that the clarification would put an end to the onslaught of calls to command officers that had been causing unnecessary attention and time wastage.

According to him, the Command will inform Lagos State’s citizens and good citizens as needed.
