Olatosho Oshoffa, the shepherd-in-charge of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, has denounced the invitation to perform at a church branch’s worship night for Fuji singer Pasuma and controversial street-hop artist Portable.

When the event flyer appeared online on Wednesday, many people became enraged and attacked the church for its selection of artists in the post comment section.

In response to the outcry from the public, Oshoffa decried Portable and Pasuma’s invitation to the church’s praise night in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

Oshoffa disclosed that he had discussed changes to the posters with the parish’s head cleric and that the singers would no longer be performing at the event.

Writing to the Celestians, I just had a lengthy conversation with the aforesaid parish’s shepherd in charge. He has committed to changing the posters.

“He has assured me that the aforementioned musicians under dispute will not attend the Nights. Without a doubt, the aforementioned poster is highly CONDEMNABLE. Blessings to CCC. Amen.

The General Head of C&S Has Died
Ayo Ni O, Surulere District, Lagos, Sunday Funso Korede, the Chairman and General Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, has passed away.

In a statement released by the Church on Tuesday, it was revealed that Korede passed away on Sunday, November 26, at the age of 73, however the cause of death was not mentioned.

In her eulogy, the Church acknowledged Korede’s significant accomplishments and spiritual development inside the Church.
