…Dundee United, Ipswich, Metz among clubs lining up for Reds prospects
…Summer exodus continues after Alexander-Arnold, Diaz exits

Liverpool are prepared to let three of their brightest academy talents leave this summer, as new manager Arne Slot continues a sweeping overhaul of the first-team squad.

According to a report by the UK Mirror, the trio of Luca Stephenson, James McConnell, and Lewis Koumas are now available for moves—either on loan or permanent deals—as the Reds adjust their roster after a busy transfer window.

Liverpool have already splashed close to £300 million on high-profile signings including Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong. But the squad shake-up hasn’t ended there. Long-time club vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold completed a surprise move to Real Madrid for £10 million, while winger Luis Diaz sealed a switch to Bayern Munich in a deal worth £63.5 million.

Now, the Merseyside giants are focused on bringing in Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, with negotiations ongoing around a potential £150 million price tag.

In the midst of this high-stakes spending, Liverpool are also making room for change by clearing out younger players. Stephenson, a promising midfielder, is being courted by several Championship and League One sides including Dundee United, Swansea, Reading, Rotherham and Cardiff—most of whom are considering a loan move.

Midfielder James McConnell, another standout from the Reds’ academy, has drawn attention from West Brom, Ipswich, Derby County, Oxford United, Swansea, and Ligue 1 side Metz.

Forward Lewis Koumas is also in demand, with Norwich City, Sheffield United, Hull City, Preston North End, Birmingham City and Wrexham all closely monitoring his status.

Slot’s commitment to reshaping the squad appears firm, with more departures expected in the coming weeks as Liverpool prepare for the new season under fresh leadership.
