Man arrested for giving his daughter, 13, a sexually transmitted disease in Ogun State: “I thought I was having sex with my wife.”

Mfon Jeremiah, a 39-year-old man, was detained by Ogun State Police Command officers for conceiving his 13-year-old biological daughter.

The victim’s mother reported the suspect’s detention to the Mowe divisional headquarters after learning that her daughter was pregnant and learning that her father was the one who had caused the pregnancy from the daughter.

After being transferred to the hospital, it was discovered that the victim is four months pregnant. After the report, the suspect was taken into custody at his home.

The suspect admitted under questioning that he had caused his daughter’s pregnancy, although he claimed to have been under a spell at the time. He told the authorities that he was dreaming of having sex with his wife, who has been living apart from him for some time, only to learn that he actually had intercourse with her daughter.
