Actor John Okafor, well known by his stage name Mr. Ibu, has refuted his wife Stella Okafor’s allegations that he is dating Jasmine, their adopted daughter.
The actor also refuted the wife’s allegations that he had used domestic violence against her, insisting that there had just been a lot of miscommunication between them.
Remember how Stella, the actor’s second wife, criticized him for leaving her and his kids in a state of destitution and misery on Friday?
Additionally, Stella asserted that Mr. Ibu was seeing Jasmine, whom she referred to as his “girlfriend.”
“My children dey here dey suffer,” she remarked. To kill me, this man arrived. Do not reassure me that everything is fine; you are unaware of my agony. In a pidgin and English mashup, she declared, “He came ready to beat and murder me.
“I fled from him. He came over to beat me up from his girlfriend’s house. I shoved him and fled as he took off his watch and prepared to beat me.
Look at my neighborhood; there are cracks everywhere.
The house has water in it. Look at the car I’m driving; it’s empty, my kids aren’t fed, there are no school fees, and you’re telling me what to do? No, your cup is already full.
Mr. Ibu responded in a live session with Daddy Freeze, denying ever hitting her and stating that his wife had verbally abused her on numerous occasions.
He denied that Jasmine was his lover, despite his wife’s assertion that she was his adoptive daughter.
Although she is my wife, there has been a lot of miscommunication between us. She doesn’t want to comprehend the type of person I am and how I live, which is why, he stated.
We walked outside to settle the dispute after a few events led to a fight. She has something to promote on social media, which I was unaware of.
“When I returned from the police station, she immediately started talking negatively about me. My daughter was derided by the woman, who also said horrible things about her.
Family ties to Jasmine were also confirmed by the actor’s second son, Daniel Okafor, who appeared on the live session with his father.
He asserted, “She (Jasmine) is 100% (my father’s) daughter; she is not biological but was adopted from infancy on.”
“My own mother is married to another man, but she is in Lagos,” my stepmother Maris said. “Maris is being misled by her friends.”
She also disparaged me by saying various things on the radio. I didn’t harm her in any way.
