Tunji Wusu –
Babangida Sarki, the governor of Kebbi State’s special youth adviser, has been fired by Nasiru Idris for allegedly sharing homosexual content on his Whatsapp status over the weekend.
On July 10th, the governor’s media assistant, Ahmed Idris, made the announcement.
He reportedly said: “The Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Nasiru Idris, removed his Special Advisor on Youths, Babangida Sarki, of his post.
The S.A. was fired as a result of an inappropriate WhatsApp status he posted. The governor, who was furious by the offensive development, claimed that the assistant violated the moral and social values of Kebbi community, which is predominately Islamic.
The governor swore that his administration would not support any actions that would belittle the morals and integrity of the state’s citizens. The governor also forbade other public officials from publishing similar vile content on their social media accounts.
