Hon. Sani Yakubu Noma, a member of the National Assembly’s Green Chamber (House of Representatives) representing Kebbi State’s Argungu/Augie Federal Constituency, stated he had reached an agreement to provide 100 female orphans for marriage.

Speaking to journalists in his rural home of Argungu, Kebbi State, he said the marriage plan is part of his contributions to his religious duty and sympathy for female children who lost their parents in his area.

He stated that preparations for the marriage ceremony, which will take place in the Palace of the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad Mera, had been completed.

He also mentioned that the event would start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

He mentioned that a committee had been formed to ensure the wedding would go off without a hitch and that the couple chosen for marriage came from the two local government districts that comprise his federal seat.

“I have already purchased mattresses, beds, necessary furniture, and other household items for the recipients of the marriage.”

As part of his constituency project, Hon. Noma of the House of Representatives revealed to the media that he would provide over a thousand people with constituency equipment during the marriage ceremony.

According to him, 500 milling machines, 600 pumping machines, 200 cars, 500 motorcycles, and 100 grinding machines will each be supplied.
