The body of the man who fell from the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge into lagoon has been found by the Lagos State Emergency and Rescue team in the state after two days of intensive search and rescue operations.
The State Environmental Health Management Unit (SEHMU) discovered the man’s body from the lagoon and immediately badged it for transport to the Lagos morgue. The man was reportedly a dispatch rider.
Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), and Margret Adeseye, the director of the agency’s fire service and rescue operations, both verified the development.
near around 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, the body of the deceased guy was pulled from the lagoon near the LASEMA end of the lagoon bank.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Lagos State Waterways Authority, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, the Lagos State Health, the Environmental Monitoring Unit, and the residents are all working together to prevent the joint operations, according to Adeseye.
