In order to attend the Saudi-African Summit scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Thursday morning.
President Tinubu will emphasize at the summit Nigeria’s dedication to growing corporate ties and luring in more foreign direct investment, which is being bolstered by the ongoing domestic economic reforms carried out by his administration.
In addition, topics of discussion at the first Saudi-African Summit will include promoting cooperative efforts, strengthening cross-sectoral investment cooperation, addressing threats to regional security, improving political coordination, and facilitating economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions.
Ministers Amb. Yusuf Tuggar of Foreign Affairs, Prof. Tahir Mamman of Education, Mr. Wale Edun of Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Betta Edu of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, and Sen. Abubakar Bagudu of Budget and Economic Planning accompanied the President.
The others are Mallam Jalal Arabi, the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Amb. Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA).
