Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi claims that world communities will not respect Nigeria because of the “characters” in power.

On Saturday, Mr Obi used Twitter to discuss how Nigerians are treated in foreign nations. “They cannot respect us where we are today; they cannot respect us because of the characters in charge of our country,” Mr Obi, a former Anambra governor, remarked.

“We have all failed the country as politicians.” Mr Obi claimed he had a similar incident where he was humiliated in another nation for being a Nigerian, citing how independent journalist David Hundeyin was recently denied admission into Zimbabwe.

Mr Obi emphasized that for Nigerians to gain international recognition, political leaders must be committed to good administration and citizen respect.

“All I’m saying is that this passport will be fantastic if we do the right thing.” To win respect, you must first clean your house.
