Nollywood Loses Allwell Ademola at 43

Nollywood actress and producer Allwell Ademola has reportedly died, throwing the film industry into mourning.

Ademola was said to have passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43. Unconfirmed reports within the industry indicate that she suffered a heart attack at her residence and was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

News of her death spread rapidly, triggering an outpouring of shock and grief from colleagues and fans across the entertainment space.

Actress Fathia Williams confirmed the development on Instagram, writing, “Haaaa. This hit me so bad. Eniobanke. Allahu Akbar.”

Actor Damola Olatunji also reacted, posting a candlelight image with the caption, “Life is a mirage,” while actress Mide Martins shared a photo of Ademola on Facebook, accompanied by a heartfelt tribute.

In an emotional response, actress Bidemi Kosoko expressed disbelief on Instagram, pleading that the news was not true.
“No way. No, no, no. Ko possible ooo. This isn’t true. God forbid, in Jesus’ name. I refuse to accept this one Lai Lai. God forbid. Olorun oni je.

“Just reply to my message, abeg, oremi/aunty mi. I will wait patiently for your reply,” she wrote.

Ademola was widely known for her contributions to the Yoruba film sector, where she built a reputation as both a talented actress and a producer.
