Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has stated the country authorities was once creating a cultural district in Benin town to leverage its wealthy cultural heritage in boosting tourism receipts.
The governor stated this in commemoration of World Tourism Day, marked each and every September 27, via the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), an organ of the United Nations. This year’s theme is ‘Rethinking tourism.’
