Prophet Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, better known as Odumeje, has ignited fresh debate after declaring that no one will ever see his corpse when his time on earth ends.

Speaking during a recent service at his Onitsha-based Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, the controversial preacher insisted that his earthly assignment is almost over.

“I am the strongest spiritual man in the world after the general, Emmanuel TB Joshua. We are not many, we are just two. One has finished the job and returned home. Now, the Lion Himself—the dead man—remains. I don’t have much time to spend here. Nobody will see my corpse,” he declared.

Odumeje emphasized that his mission was not about longevity but about fulfilling a divine mandate. He said his ministry was created to erase doubts about the supremacy of Jesus Christ, stressing: “Our mission is one God and one power, and that man is Jesus Christ.”

The cleric, who has become a household name for his dramatic preaching style, bold declarations, and eccentric self-descriptions such as “the liquid metal,” “the war,” and “indaboski bahose,” continues to divide opinion across Nigeria. While his followers revere his unusual spiritual authority, critics often dismiss his statements as theatrics.
