OSUN LG CONGRESS: WE WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT OPPOSITIONS TO CONSENSUS ARRANGEMENTS

On Monday, during a press conference at the Osun state APC secretariat in Osogbo, Chairman of the Local Government Congress Committee of the All Progressives Congress Gbenga Elegbeleye, maintained that nobody informed him and his group of objections to consensus arrangements.

Elegbeleye, disclosed that it was on his arrival into the state, they saw it on social media like others did.

When enquired about the names announced by The Osun Progressives, the group loyal to former Governor Rauf Aregbesola, Elegbeleye said, “the constitution of our party only recognizes the APC and not any group within the party.

The committee chairman displayed the list of all elected party officials, stating that he will be submitting it to the national headquarters of the party.

“The constitution of our party only recognises the APC and not any group within the party.

“I know nothing about that and I think if anyone has objections, they should come to the secretariat of the APC and not go online or on air to display such” Elegbeleye said.
